Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Prestige Media collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It covers prestigemedia.io only.

Who is responsible

Prestige Media, based in Paris, France, is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any question about this policy, or to exercise the rights set out below, write to [email protected].

What we collect

There is one place on this site where you can give us personal data: the contact form. When you submit it, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your brand or hotel name, if you provide one
• Whatever you write in the project details field

We do not ask for payment details, and there is no account to create. We do not buy personal data from third parties, and we do not sell or rent yours.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use what you send solely to read your enquiry and reply to it, and to carry on that conversation if it leads somewhere. Under the GDPR our legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who approach us about work. We do not use your details for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry reaches us as an email, so it passes through the providers that run this site and our mail. They process it on our behalf and for no purpose of their own:

• Our web host, which runs the server this site sits on
• Cloudflare, which delivers the site and filters malicious traffic
• Our email provider, which delivers and stores the message

We do not otherwise share your data. If a transfer outside the European Economic Area is involved, it relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that lead to a project are kept for the life of that project and for as long afterwards as French commercial and tax law requires. Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted within three years of our last exchange. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Cookies and embedded video

This site sets two cookies of its own. Both are strictly necessary — one keeps your session, the other protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Neither tracks you, and neither needs consent. We run no advertising or profiling cookies.

Some pages embed video hosted on YouTube. When such a video loads, YouTube may set its own cookies and receive your IP address, under Google's privacy policy, which we do not control. If you would rather avoid that, block third-party cookies in your browser.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or send it to you in a portable form. You may also object to our processing it. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within one month.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will appear here with a new date at the top.
